Hi,
I just got my 166+UHP mounted shipped to me.
Can I just install myself ? (haven't replaced wheels in long time lol)
or I am better off taking to a Tireshop?
For now I want to install wheels w/o spacers, to see how the look is, 95% might end up with 20mm spacers for sure. Eventually might think about Sport Springs to lower car.
Thanks

Can you let me know where did you purchased your 166+UHP mounted/balanced and the total cost? Also, did you put in new TPM sensor for each wheel?
I'm in NJ and the lowest price I received was from Circle BMW ($395 for the front and $404 for the rear).
I heard from this forum that Quad M have good prices for OEM wheels. I just need to put more mileage on my Dunlop RF before getting the 166+UHP.
Thanks

I got it used from a 530 car. Check BMW roundel magazine (in classifieds once in while u will see M5 166 wheels for $1100-$1200) or M5board.com SALE/WANTED section , there's always some one getting rid of their stock wheels.

Next quick mod is probably 20mm spacers for rear for now.. Cant justify spending $250 for springs and $350 for install for drop yet

Umnitza AngelEyes V2.0 should be here next week.

+1. I thought I would be done modding, but I got a few more things up my sleeve..

If you plan to drop, get 12mm spacers for the rear. YOu might rub if you have the 20mm spacers and lowered. choose H&R sports or Eibach Prokit if its your daily car. But for the slammed look, H&R race is the one you want.

I think if you have stock Sport suspension and then add springs, then u will rub on 20mm spacers right?
Mine is non-sport suspension. Monacobmw (530) is using 20mm spacers on his 166+UHP, hes on non-sport suspension, lowered using H&R sport, not rubbing itseems even in bumps.
