Thumbs up

Anyone with the M Sport model - Does the front bumper catch speed humps or scrap when going up steep driveways? My SE front bumper (sports suspension) is about 1mm off the floor when I go up my parents 1 in 1 drive and I 'm concerned my sport bumper will catch. It may be no lower than the SE for this very reason!

Mark from Yorkshire you have experienced both! Any problems so far?

Haven't had any probs with mine as yet (M sport kit + sport sus). Be careful of getting too close when parking fwd facing a curb. Wife came to pick me up at the station the other night and i screamed at her to stop.....

I am afraid you might have a problem as the M-sport model car shud be definately lower due to 1)M-suspension lower than sports- 2)M-kit lower than standard.
You might win some clearance with bigger wheels though...

My M kit is much lower in front than standard.

I can no longer pull all the way into a parking space if it has one of those curb blocks in front. I will scrape my front lip spoiler.

The driveway to my house is very steep. I was worried before I took delivery that the front spoiler would scrape on ground but provided I come to a complete stop before starting up drive everything is fine. By the way the Audi A4 Cab that I had before my E60 SE was always scraping on driveway. Also my E60 Sport has not had any problems with speed bumps but I am careful.

Cheers Mark, I'll keep that in mind.
I suppose the easiest thing for me to to do is just stop visiting my parents!

I did notice the other day when I parked in a car park that the front end was completely over the curb and on closer inspection I missed scraping the underside by 1mm I would have been gutted if it would have crunched it. so next time I park up I will bare that in mind

If you had the M kit, then you would have gutted your bumper in that parking space.

I have the M kit, and I can no longer pull all the way into parking spaces that have curbs in front.
