So I just got an M spoiler for my E60 and I have included the pictures after installation. Can anyone please verify that I installed it correctly. And let me clarify, I know it is a simple remove tape and press on, that is not what i'm asking, I am asking more about the positioning. Thanks for all for your feedback and comments in advance.

I had mine installed at a BMW dealer body shop, so I'm no expert at it by any means. I will say, however, that it looks to me like yours is a little more forward than it should be. Take a look at mine for comparison.
...but if yours does not come loose from the tape as mine did after about 4 weeks, then perhaps yours is right and mine is wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix the fact that my spoiler is coming up off the car at both ends? Has this happened to anyone else? It still looks good on the car, but looks cheap at the same time!

My Ride: 2007 550i, Mystic Blue over Auburn, 6-Manual, Sports, Premium, Cold Weather, Logic 7, Nav, Sirius, MTec Front & Sides with M5 rear apron, VIS Penta carbon fiber vented hood, OEM M166s, (or Style 101M with winter 19 Blizzaks), BMW Blue Calipers, Custom Quad Exhaust and M5 side grills, trunk finisher and spoiler. Rogue Octane SSK/WSR and Zeckhausen CDV, BMW illuminated shift knob, Delivered 4/26/06 - Ordered 3/18/06 from Otto's (the Best) BMW Dealership.
Mine is just very close to the rear-most body line- it does not overhang at all and is ahead of that line by maybe 5mm max. However- it is not just a simple clean and stick- you MUST make sure to remove all wax/grease/oil or the spoiler WILL pull up. Mine was installed by a professional customizer and I helped him wipe down the trunk lid area with a 3M product and then he used an adhesive accelerator spray on the tape strips. He said without both steps they will always separate. It's been 4 years with no issues and regular washings with a power washer.

Ok, after looking at a few M5 pictures, I realized I needed to move it back abit. I do have to admit that it looks better this way.
