Hello all. I ordered an '08 528i last week, which of course I'm thrilled about. I ordered an M Aero kit for installation at the port in NJ. Does anyone have any experience with the NJ port installation? Any tips or suggestions for ordering it? Anyone know what the invoice is on the kit? Also, does anyone have a rough idea how long it will take for it to be installed there? My SA tells me to expect another 10 days or so for installation. Production is week 12, so I'm looking at an estimated end-of-April delivery (with aero). Any thoughts or tips are greatly appreciated!

The kit you ordered was it specifically for the 08 or was it the existing one? I mention that because if I'm not mistaken the new kit will have orange reflectors near the wheel well, but if you order the kit that was for the 07 or 06 it would not have the reflector, to me a much cleaner look. THe question remains will they install the old kit on it.

I too ordered an 08 528i and I am keeping my M kit that is from my 2006 because it has no reflectors on the front. All other pieces should be the same

The dealer wasn't too sure which one it would be--the '07 kit or the one that goes on the '08 550. He felt that the body was the same so either would fit the car without any problems. I am ambivalent as to which kit, so long as it fits. I would prefer not to have the orange reflector, but then again the reflector is a visual cue that the car is an '08 (as there are so few other exterior visual cues, especially without the original bumpers). I guess so long as it fits, I'm happy, but I'll check with the dealer and try to get a firm answer. Thanks.
