Hey all. I've had Eibach sport springs with the stock sport suspension for a while now. I had noticed the front of the car was lowered much more than the rear. Over the years I noticed that the front started to have the "tucked" look. Noticed that my struts were losing their cushion. I decided to replace my stock struts and shocks with Bilstein sports. Although the ride has improved drastically, I still have the "tucked" look in the front. My car kinda looks like I have coilovers in the front only. Is there a part in the front suspension that may have given out that caused the extra "tucked" look. Sorry, no pics available. Please share your opinions

Anytime you lower the car with springs and use the stock shocks, you're lucky to get a year more out of your stock shocks, they cannot handle the loads. Looks like someone needs to contact Michael (acuteperformance) and se about some KSport coils, they cost abotu the same as new shocks will and give you a much better ride

Anything's possible, but I doubt that.

that is the way Bilsteins look, member Nerweezy has the exact same setup. His fronts look tucked and the rears are higher, ask him.

I also have same problem. I changed my stock to Koni FSD with Eibach pro-kit springs. The rear is higher than the front. But it is not a problem in 3 series. Is it the problem of eibach spring? any comment? thanks

By "tucked" do you mean, it now has negative camber? meaning that the wheels look a bit slanted? if it's just a height issue because the fronts are lower, then your tucked look has got to do with offset. If you have stock wheels with high offsets, you will need to add some spacers up front to push the wheels outward. Depending on the offset, you will need 10-15mm spacers with extended bolts.

I have the Eibach prokit and Bilstein sports setup just like yours. I've had them on for about a good year now, and both I installed at the same time.

Over the last few months I've started to notice how my front tires ocassionally rub my fenders. They never used to do that the first 6 to 7 months since install. But now the same bumps I never fear approaching back then are now the ones I slow down for.

There is a noticeable drop to the front of my car when compared to the rear, kinda like that "tucked" look you're talking about. I honestly think that these springs do "settle" (sag?) over time, the fronts more so than the rear for obvious reasons. What took yours years to settle took me only months maybe because I have the heavier engine (a V8).

Your Bilsteins sports have nothing to do with the ride height but everything to do with the rebound, and I honestly don't think your springs are shot. These are just the nature of the springs so it's something we just have to deal with or, we could roll the fenders? Now if we could just have the rears settle as much...lol. just my 2 cent

btw my wheels are OEM 166 M5 offsets, fronts 245/35 with no spacers

Well I don't have any rubbing issues. This problem came about after approx 1 yr of installation. Problem is still existing even afer the Bilstein change. Hey, there might not be anything wrong with my original sport struts and shocks. The Bilsteins ride a lot better though. No regrets there. What do you guys think is a fair price for original sport suspension?
