Low Fuel Warning Sound

Hi all,
Just wondering if it's posible to tone down the Low Fuel warning sound? Personally I think it's too loud.

Keep gas in your car.

Sound should go away.

haha you should never run on fumes or your reserve gas unless you have to. It's bad for the engine anyways.

Turn the volume knob [on the radio] down when it dings? Worked for the voice navigation...

Haha...Great suggestion! But I thought it was a little loud too, but I guess since its a low fuel warning they want to make sure you hear it before you run out and get stuck...

Good thing BMW is always thinking of the drivers!

+1 for keeping gas in the car.

if you are driving a 5 series you shouldnt be filling up a quarter tank at a time!
