I occasionally get a whistle from the front of the car as well. I started noticing it after I installed my RPi scoop. I'm not sure that's the cause, just saying that's about when I noticed it. It looks like some of you guys have RPi scoops as well.

and I had a thread out there asking about modifying to make the scoop bigger! LOL
I am not saying it's the scoop causing noise but...

I'm not running the scoop but have the same issue. I'm going to get some painters tape and put around the windshield this evening an make a few runs. Hopefully I can track down the source.

No scoop on my car either. The noise just started around four weeks ago...

I'm beginning to think it's not the windshield. I'm positive that my windshield hasn't been replaced in the past, but it has sat outside on plenty of hot Texas day's. I've read that one way to diagnose if it's the windshield is to apply force to the windshield when the sound is present to see if it goes away/ alters pitch. On my way home, I heard the whistle and pushed on every part of the windshield, there not a change in the whistle at all. I mean, I put some force into the windshield and the whistle just laughed back at me... so I think it's form something underneath the car. Again, I'm hearing a very course/rough whistle from the center of the dashboard, near the center speaker (I have L7). Next step is to put some tape around the windshield and see if it still appears.

No noise but new windshield in 2010. I did have to have one of the molding replaced after they replaced the windshield. The sunroof has some wind noise from 80-? but I can close the shade and the noise goes away.

Are you guys certain it's not the sunroof seal?

Noise in the center dash is somtimes attributed to the strut bar. Maybe getting a highspeed vibration or harmonic?

Try attaching a spring clamp to the bar to see if it affects the noise.

Another good idea that I will look into this weekend. I haven't actually looked under the IP yet, but is the IP strut accessible or visible? I'm thinking I will need to remove a few panels...
