Hey everyone. Did some searching on google and can’t find anything about this.
I recently lost my wallet. My wallet had the black plastic wallet key in it. I’m worried that someone who finds my wallet (with all my address on my id’s) can go to my house and use the black key to steal my car.
What is is the best thing i should do? Take the plastic fob out of the glovebox? Not really sure what to do.
Any help would be great.
thank!

finding that highly unlikely, considering most people that find a lost wallet will either pocket the money and trash the rest or throw it in the lost and found.
if the person that found it decides to keep all of its contents, and then on top of that decides to come over and steal your car, he's going to need that plastic shell in order to use the actual key to start the car.
that's if he's either foolish or smart enough to believe he can take it apart at a location before the GPS pings where it is
if he's audacious enough to jump over all of those mental and physical hurdles, he probably either deserves your car or you wouldn't want to mess with him if he intends to try
