Loss of Audio/CID blanks out/ 2006 525i
Hey Guys,
need help pin pointing this issue...symptoms are all audio is out, SOS phone malfunction warning, iDrive screen/ CID blanks out and comes back up, and iDrive screen seems to stay on after car is turned off and has drained battery. BMW audio repair guy seems to be sure it is the CCC/TCU unit in trunk...I am wondering if I should buy a used unit and have BMW shop program it? Or should I just take it to the dealership, they want $350 for the part and $150 to diagnose.
