I am sorry it happens but at least the person left his number.
Another thing, once they fix your car..your car will be like new. I had things like happening to most of my bimmer...sad to say.

PS. Whose the E60 behind your car with the 116's?
It's my neighbours 530.

Sorry to see what's happended to your beautiful car.
Unfortunately these things DO happen but at least the guy left his details. I did the same last summer, running into the rear door of another guy. I left my details for him and he was so grateful. It was no skin off my nose; the insurance company sorted it all out; so why don't people leave their details? Both his car and my car were fixed without any hassle and both as good as new.
Hope you can sort this out just as easily and restore your car to it's pristine condition.

Result: Two new doors... It was very easy to replace them and you don't see a thing of reparation...

I'm sorry about that.
I feel the pain, but at least, is not all the side affected, which it would very easy to be with a hit like that.
Your car will be again like new with no visible repairs

Damn, i had the same with my former E39. The only thing that was different is that the lorry didn't leave anything!!! But lucky for me there was a witness that saw it happen.
Response from the lorry driver was: i didn't notice anything
and it looked a little bit worse i think.
But still, 2 doors scratched, awtch that will cost him a lot...
But i agree i felt the same way when i noticed it.
Here a pic from my car then:
