I'm sorry man....
which way do you go? new doors or just to have those fixed in body shop
?
IMHO if new doors the car will have to dissaseble a lot a painted anyway.... if those doors only fixed and repainted then no disassembly....
either way make sure you have to whole drivers side repainted from front to rear light all the way.... otherwise it will be visible that those doors are new or repainted....

OMG that's nasty. I know how you must feel, i had a similar accident. How on earth some pople get thier driver's licence? It's horrifing some are so neglecting regarding other people's cars and proprieties. Hope you get that fixed asap, but try to find a good repair shop that uses the least clay, and does the best paint job. Really hope you get that fixed. It looks so wounded.

I am sorry for you mate, but this is more fuss than trouble he has to pay (or his insurrance) for the replacement of the door. The door is dented badly ask for replacement and good luck, do not worry when they repair it you will have her back as nice as before.

The only positive is that the driver left his details, in many situations you'd be left with the damage & you'd be claiming given i assume it happended overnight & probably no witnesses so you had an honest driver, so be very thankful you can save your insurance. Looks like a nasty smash, however i'm sure it can/will be repaired to as good as new.

Yes, of course it was good that he left his number. Now I just have to wait after the weekend and try to get it repaired as quick as possible.
