IMHO it lacks the impact and presence of alpine white or dark colours (e.g. black / monaco blue), however its certainly a unique and cool colour. I like the combo shown with Shaddow Line and Creme Beige interior. One of our US based members fitted 19" M166s to his neptune blue ride, which looked great -- I think there are pics in the Gallery.

My Ride: 2007 530i. Purchased 6/28/07. Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. It looks very refined and elegant, if that's the look someone is going for. Not my cup 'o tea, but you definitely wouldn't see youself coming and going in this one.
