Well we're on the topic of anthracite maple (sorry for thread jacking Brandy) does anyone have any issues with certain pieces not matching in color? All of my door handle pieces are very noticably brown compared to the anthracite color of the dash pieces. should I be trying to get this warrantied or is this normal?

My 06 has the same trim and it was tough to find accurate photos, although these above are all outstanding. I ended up using a few of the example pics from this site and then used software to try and get the colors to be as accurate as possible. I have never attached photos to a post before but I'll try to post a few.
Btw, although this will NARROW down your choices by quite a lot at the auction -- there aren't many cars with this type of wood trim, and finding one in the excellent shape you'll desire narrows it down even more -- I can share that EVERY time someone new gets in my car they comment about how beautiful and unique the wood trim is ...
GL finding the best car for you! It goes without saying that I would have easily been fine with the more traditional brown wood trim if the car overall had been in better condition. I was just really lucky finding one in genuine showroom-perfect condition with only 23K miles.

I can't believe you asked that question!! I have been wondering the same thing!! My front door handles look more brown (I have Anthracite Maple trim as well). It has been bugging me for some time...and I finally decided to get the dealership to look at it. They too noticed the difference, it is very obvious...the passenger more so than the drivers door handle. They said that it is the right piece/colour...but maybe from a different cut of maple. And that if they ordered another piece, it could be darker...but warranty would not cover it. I am so tempted to order one just to see the colur and if it matches I would get them to install it. Did you approach your dealership to see what they have to say?
