Bring it in to the dealer, be diplomatic and I would bet they will take care of it since you are so darn close to 50K.
+1 ... especially since you've documented the warning lights with photographs at just over 50K ... these problems should be addressed under warranty.

If a dealer is sticky about mileage and warranty remind him/her that tire wear alone can create odometer error of +/- 1-2% ... 2% of 50,000 miles ~ 1000 miles.

Let us know what they discover!

i guess its a bad battery... a dude here in Iceland had the same problems and a new battery solved it...

it has something to do with the intelligent charging system...

+1 I agree with Angelic. I know someone who had this shit after he reconnected his battery incorrectly. It could be that one of the connectors to your battery is bad/loose.

Talk about timing!!! But I do like the idea that you stopped for a coffee to contemplate things -- that's a very nice way to look at things instead of getting out and kicking the car like some of us might!

Since it's only a few days off, the warranty might still stand -- depends on the dealer but then again.. mention to him that you'll 'want to get this fixed and will be looking at another BMW car from him' -- that might get him to do it under warranty in hopes you order a new car from him......

just an idea....

Are you the original buyer? Just curious. Not all but some dealers record on your docs the mileage at dlivery. For example if you purchased at 25 miles then you could state your 50K warratny expires at 50025.

I kow it's debatable. Only works for new cars, not demo's, CPO'd, etc.

Whoops, sounds like you picked up the test car with all the prototype equipment in it.
That wasn't suppose to leave the test facility.

Just kidding, the dealer should work with BMW NA to get it resolved so no worries.
