Hello all there!
e60 535d -05.
Two keys (one for me, one for my wife). When I use my key, everything works fine: Doors open, seat/mirror/climate etc. adjustments.
When my wife uses her key, everything works, BUT radio channel names (RDS names). On display there are only radio channel (frequency) numbers.
I've tried to find solution from iDrive settings, but I can't. Is there such setting? Can I reset only radio somehow? There are default settings for logic7, but it changes only bass/treble/fader etc. settings/levels.

This is very annoying to my wife... and will be to me soon... You know what I mean...? ;-)

Br

Inside the radio menu choose - "all stations" and it will show station names again

If you want the RDS to show, hit the SET buttong and select RDS and it will change to the NAME and not the Frequency number.

+1

You should be seeing (on that photo) "RDS" right next to where it says "TP" at the bottom.

As You see in this photo, there is no RDS-option in SET-menu.
Damn.
Maybe I should reset whole car by disconnecting battery?

Noooooo. Just set it like GrantT said. I've toggled mine on/off a few times. Strangely they seem to have linked this setting into the key's settings, so at some point you must have turned it on for your key and never did for your wife's key.

edit: oh, I see you've said you don't have the RDS option in the set menu. It's there somewhere. My car's all snug in the garage to go look where the option is. I'd just have to look in/out of all the menus anyway.

Its there, if you scroll it down. Just turn your i-Drive knob and you will see more menus options.

Not in his case. I think you can only scroll up/down that menu when the little corner arrows are visible indicating that scrolling is available.
