Thats right. I have a PDF file of the article... I cant find the link to it right now. I'll post it when I get home.
RR has like 500 Watts or somthing and I think 14 speakers... The new Lexus IS I thought has 14 speakers now and the new LS 460 will have 19 speakers and somthing like 700Watts I forget but I'll post the article.

Let's speculate for some OEM sound system that hit 1000W. Oh, I remember some car has $30K car audio option. I forgot what the name of the car is.
This means that you reduce the mid-frequency, right? I always find that V is my most favorite EQ setting in any sound system. It just my taste.
You're not correct. Two tweeters are connected in parallel with two 4" mid-range speakers in the front doors. The other two are also connect in // with other two mid-range on the rear panel.
I use the "v" settings -"purchased" from Iceman and it pumps out the $*t of snoop in the car
Exactly. However the poster above referred only to mid-frequency and low-frequency. Add 4 tweeters in each door to that and voila: 13 speakers

RMS output is more important 
They can design a 1000 watts peak audio system
but with only 100 watts RMS ...
Anyway, the new MB S-550 has Logic 7 as standard,
from what I have read, they have a similar setup as
ours.

I think the following would be appropriate:
Do you like how it sounds? Then sit back, drive and enjoy it. Kinda like the "did I pay the *right* amount?" question -- who cares? Enjoy the car! ...and the sound (which I think is pretty darn good for an oem stereo!).

Wifey drives an X5 4.4 with Sport
Our systems are good, but they can't touch the Mark Levinson that Lexus has. Smooth and complete.
I wish BMW would team up with Linn or B&W. That would be something.
