I have a solution,

Guns N Roses Greatest hits album, start with "Paradise City" then move onto "November Rain"

Then when you're really feeling it going a buck forty just blast "Welcome to the Jungle"

Of course on your way home from a good day throw on your current electronic jams, like Late Night Alumni, anything from Kaskade or Gabriel and Dresden and you should be good to go, the logic 7 rocks

If you like classical, I would recommend the introduction to "Also Sprach Zarathustra" by Strauss. It is one the most powerfull pieces of music ever written and probably on of the most recognized. I played it for a friend and he was blown away by the L7 system. The piece is perfect for the L7 system. Most systems cannot handle the complex sound level changes and frequency changes without distorting, but the L7 handles it like a champ.

If you want a nice clear intro turning into fat heavy riffs that make you want to sink your foot in the oil sump, give "Don't talk to strangers" by (Ronnie James) DIO a chance.

Even if you don't wanna use it as first piece, try it one day. You'll automatically floor it after the intro.

Hehehe - while you guys were busy seeing Blue Man Group, I was at C2K seeing Sasha and John Digweed in Las Vegas.

Actually I was "seeing" the women...

I'd also recommend tracks 1 and 6 from "Strays" by Janes Addiction (2003). #6 is the theme song for Entourage (but it was a cool song before it was honored with this distinction).

Pink Floyd greatest hits album "Echoes" has some nice stereo production.

Thanks everyone for your opinions. So far, I am leaning on a few options, some based on your feedback (Floyd). Mostly, due to good recording quality, standard tunes I dig, and a wide range in acoustic dynamics:

1. In the Air Tonight - Phil Collins
2. Another Brick in the Wall - Pink Floyd
3. Leave - REM
4. Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd
