Purchased 2004 545i Sport CP0 39,300 Miles: April 25th, 2008
Drove: April 25th-May 7th-13 Days
BMW Repair May 7th-May 19th?? 12 Days
Repairs:
-Replaced CD Player
-Replaced bad DSC sensor
-Replaced steering rack
All this on a CPO. Happy times......
I did manage to get free installation on an IPOD, but still does not make up for the fact that the car had all these issues in my opinion.
I JUST WANT MY FRICKING CAR BACK!!!!

It's unfortunate you had some issues, but at least they are getting taken care of. I had my car for about 3 weeks before leaving it at the dealer for almost 5 days due to some issues. Hopefully they gave you a loaner better than what I got (4 banger-sentra
). Hope everything gets resolved...good luck..

This is true they are fixing it. Just glad everything is under warranty. I hope everything is smooth sailing going forward. My loaner is a 2008 328i with about 400 miles of which I put on about 395 of. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

It's not bad, but what a size difference from the 5 series to the 3 series. I do like the design of the center console though. There is a nice little holder in the center which is great to put your phone or ipod in. Something which I feel the 5 series lacks. Though it is no V8. How's that 535i?

Nothing to complain about in the 535, never question my decision on getting it. Doesn't your 5 have that little shelf underneath the radio to put stuff in? That's where I put my wallet and phone...

Mine does have the shelf but things can slide out of there. I loved the 13 days of my 5 series experience. I wish I could have bought a new 535i but just could not afford one at this point in my life. Perhaps in a couple years I can get a new 5, but plan on keeping this one hopefully at least for 5.
