I like the M5 trunk lip spoiler. To me its just a nice small touch to accentuate the rear.

Got a silly quote from dealer to day to the tune of over $800 installed.

I thought it can be done with just a strip of special 3M tape.

I have seen on E-bay some offerings as low as $99 painted!

My first reaction is thats a bit too little. I realize we talking about a tiny strip of plastic, but thats real low.

Are there any experiences out there with these non genuine pieces?

This is a NON sport 530i. Gonna leave badges on as not to be a poser!

Since it will have chrome, I wonder too if anyone has the inexpensive chrome grills on their cars and any ill effects with them.

Those are the only two items I would be interested in.
