Light timer not working

My Ride: 2005 530d M Sport, Carbon Black, Black half leather
In iDrive theres a setting for how long you want to keep your lights on when you lock your car..
Iv set it to different amount. 10 secound, 40 secounds. no matter what.. they dont stay on.. so as soon as i leave the car they are off... any suggestions?

After you shut down the car you need to activate them by flashing your high beams. (give the turn signal a pull towards you)

Yes it worked. only works when the lights are switched to auto...
Think its silly you gota flash them to get them back on.. maybe its just me

Glad to hear it worked. I actually like that. I don't usually need it and in parkin lots I don't want to attract attention to the car unnecessarily so I think it's perfect.
