Thought I'd update this thread: Sirius, as a rule, will credit whatever is remaining of your subscription towards the lifetime subscription.
You don't have to call at night and you don't have to reach that one special rep!
Since I'm leasing for 3 years, I'm not sure it makes sense to do the lifetime. 2 years is 271 right now--3 free months. If I did the lifetime, it would cost me 358 (I'm already a month into the free year so I don't get the full 150 deduction).
