First it was a left high beam malfunction then after a couple of days now it's the right high beam malfunction. The problem is when i checked my high beams are fine but my DRL are off. The only fuses i could find are 70,5,6,19 all OK. Please help i am going to the dealer tomorrow and i wanna know what to expect.

If BOTH DRL's went out it might be something in the wire harness...

Do you know if we are covered under the CPO?

I doubt it...lighting isn't covered under CPO as far as I know...maybe your dealer will be nice and pay a % of the cost to perform the repair...

The light-bulbs are not covered, but if there's an electrical short or something similar, it might be covered.

It must be something with the wiring, the odds of both bulbs going out one after the other are very slim....maybe a rodent seeking shelter in the warm engine bay?

not sure which headlights you have, but the normal high beam uses the same xenon lamp......just a shutter opens. the flash to pass is the same as the drl.
did you pull the signal stalk toward you? and not just push forward?
its not that uncommon for both lights to go out on a car. happened to me before on another vehicle that was fairly new.

I was quoted $295.00 for each light bulb parts only. How is that possible? :o :o :o
