LED license plate bulbs w/ built in resistors

Quick question. why would my LED license plate bulbs w/ built in resistors start shownig "bulb ot errors randomly" - does not show all the time and only sometimes on startup and then goes off.

That means the resistor in-built is not the correct value. Its just a little too high.

If you add a resistor in parallel it will bring the resistance down. Ohm's Law! But dont ask me what to use because I don't know what you have at the moment.

I'm having the same problem with mine. I purchased a pair of LED's with builtin resistors online, and now I get the error periodicaly. Does anyone out there sell some good LED's with built in resistors that would not cause this problem?
