... are there any parts for the E60 that I must get while I'm in Europe? I was planning on hitting a dealership in Paris to get the aux input part -- I was told by my dealer that the aux input kit was on national back order in the US! Anything else that's available only over there that I should get? Thanks!

You will be lucky if a European dealer has the aux input in stock the day you ask for one..but possibly an order takes only a few days.
For the rest, picking up goodies...well, the dollar/euro ratio won't help - and usually
it's the other way round. I always ask the same question when I visit the US!!

Paris? Pick up a bottle of parfume for the Mrs. !!

How big is your suitcase? If you buy a few M sport front bumpers you may be able to sell them when you get back home and cover the cost of your trip out of the profits

I would get the AUX Input retrofit kit in Germany, and order it before I fly over...

Have fun dude! Business or Pleasure? Pickup some BMW lifetsyle accessories not available in the US or maybe some folding mirrors.
