Leather Damage - Comfort Seat

On the E60, since it was delivered, I had the front seats "dressed" in a pair of T-shirts (my toddler at the rear loves to tear the magazine holder with this sneakers by kicking at it and using it as a foor rest in my previous E39).
Imagine my horror when I lifted the Ts and found this damage on the leather (see pic). The is is on the driver's side - the passenger side is ok.
On closer examination, I felt that there are a few protrusions just under the leather. This makes it more prone to damage.
I am going to the dealer this Thursday and see what they have to say.
