Lease takeover question?

I want to takeover a lease. Will I be able to buy a car before lease ends???
Will I be able to extend the warranty or I'll be like 2nd owner???

I haven't done it yet but if your are being assigned a lease then you should have all of the rights of the original lessor unless you waive those rights in the agreement that you are signing. So read everything carefully.
