Lease and chipped rims?
#1
So I was pissed when 1 month or so into my lease I took my car to the regular car wash I always used and was always reputable in an upscale area with lots of nice cars going through etc-well after taking it there 3 times or so I took a close look at my rims and was reallllly pissed to see 2 of them on the side that it goes into the "track" chipped/scraped up along the outer edge-one of them is probably 3inches of chipping right on the outer edge. You gotta get down and look to notice it since it is not in the middle and blends pretty well with the edge
However the car is leased and will they charge me for a new set of rims or what kind of "wear and tear" is allowed/ how hard to they inspect? I heard if you trade in on another bimmer they are a lot more lenient and I definetly am trading on another bimmer.
Thanks in advance!

You may be okay -- they are supposed to charge you if there are "cracks" or "structural bends" but it doesn't say much about scratches...

Anyway all it specifies is structural damage or cracks in the the face-so dont feel so bad.
