My 04 525 is leaking washer fluid...quickly. I'll have to take it in because it's too much of a pain to access the tank. Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this problem. I just cant believe a I can be having this stupid of a problem with a car of this quality. My 92' Accord has 200,000 miles on it and doesn't even leak oil!!! Why is an 04 BMW leaking washer fluid??!!

Is it leaking from the pump, as its just a push fit?

If so you can gain acess to it by removing a few screws securing the inner wing on

My 92 Accord has 278,000 miles and never dripped a drop of oil, either! (In comparison, my 550 blew a power steering hose at 8 months leaving me stranded on a major freeway). Have the dealer check your washer fluid tank if you're warranty is still good. Otherwise if you'd rather fix it yourself, the washer fluid reservoir can be accessed by removing the bumper; the reservoir is mounted just below the left headlight.

Maybe that's why it's so big! 3 litres, the family car has something like half a litre it seems, so often to refill.....
