Im about to purchase new LCI taillights. I am wondering if anyone has examples of both LCI versions as a comparison.

Not wanting to hijack the thread but where can you get the amber LCI lights in the US? I personally find the red turn signal on tail lights less desirable.

I agree.
A group buy is in progress on the amber EU style taillights, and the price increases on the 15th. Contact Bruce Miranda because he is arranging through Heiko Bauer to get these but BMW pricing increases in 2 days.

I have the Amber LCIs. I got them through Mr. Bauer as well. Everything as expected. NIB.
I sold my red LCIs to another member on the board and he was very happy AFAIK.
I didn't like the reds, and think they are a traffic hazard.

I have the pre LCI taillights and my turnsignals non led are amber too. Why would BMW change the us spec to red? Did the DOT change their regulation?
