Buy the BMW retrofit cables.
Swap the following: Light Control Module, headlights, taillights, the two adaptive headlight modules
Rewire BOTH cars the headlights and taillights. For the 2007 E60, wire it exactly like the BMW LCI retrofit instructions. For the 2008 E60, reverse ALL the wiring. When cutting the pre-LCI wires, cut it with a little more length since you will need to solder the wires back ONTO the LCI vehicle.

This should take you at least 10 hours to finish and parts should cost about $40. THere should be no need for programming since it's all in the LCM. Good luck!!!

So I guess some unsuspecting sucker is now going to pay for a LCI e60 with pre-LCI lighting.

Exactly what I was thinking. If you're buying a car though, you should know this. It takes maybe an hour of research to find this out? Sucks to whoever buys the car though, pre-LCI tails suck compared to LCI ones.
