I can't seem to feel LCI tail looks better. I actually prefer pre-LCI tail lights.

Yes. LCI tail has LEDs but I don't really understand why LED is a big deal.

The E60 non-HELLA units from Eagle Eyes are reasonable quality and have not caused any errors here locally on installed cars or any for our customers.
They are a very good alternative
