I have an 05 BMW 545i, I live in South West Florida and my Headlights are fogging up. My question is if the LCI headlights fog up that easy too or are they better, plus do they even fit.
And can someone explain to me why they fog up so easily it is after all BMW we are talking about.

As far as fitment yes it will perfectly, but wiring is a different story... you'll need a new retrofit wiring as the wiring plug is different and also a new LCM module among other things but its do-able as some members have done it. 'bout fogging I'm not so sure...

Idont know if LCI has this but pre LCI has a cover that covers light bulbs and wires inside of headlight and when that is not tight or opened, it can be fogged ... so check if the cap is sealed tightly

My LCI headlights fogged like this when I first bought the car. BMW changed them under warranty when I email the pics to them. http://forums.e60.net/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=521279

I'm sorry I didn't make myself clear. I meant foggy as in the plastic has pores and tiny cracks and the plastic looks old it almost looks like dust/sand. I have no problems with water.
