Hinckley,

How is that clutch behaving. Do you feel any delay?

Yes . . . it'll definately require CDV surgery.

Yes and yes. We've driven the course now several times.

One final set of pics in and around Provence before the next wait begins . . .

In beautiful Avignon:

Just a typical suburban town in Provence:

And a typical $120 fill-up almost anywhere in Europe:

Very nice pics! Makes me wanting to go on a Euro roadtrip this summer... I was a little supprised seeing you wash your new car in that kind of car wash though!

Nothing weird about it . . . to a dwindling few of us, we can only feel truly connected to our cars by do-it-yourself shifting. I've never really cared that advanced automatics or SMGs can shift a few miliseconds quicker than I can. I just find real joy in nailing that perfect 5th-to-3rd downshift and then accelerating and shifting back up through a corner.

As I've said in earlier posts, it's similar to being a motor-boater versus a sail-boater. I prefer the challange of sailing. Just what's right for me . . .
