frankly speaking these software updates really start to scare me;
pervious updates already screwed 2 CCC units and believe me they were very much in backorder. took weeks to replace them and I was driving an disabled car with either no phone or navigation system.
At the moment all is fine except I am waiting for some solution from Munich regarding the TMC problem causing most Radio Channels to mention "LOCAL 1 etc. " instead there broadcast names.

That's RDS and happens to stations with floating text.
But to be honest, I can live with that!
I am just looking for an AV input and the Hamann TV module to have the pic shown while driving and then I use my DVD player for MP3's and DVD's and can watch even TV while the car is in motion. I will then not get any more software updates.
It seems software updates have a tendency to make the cars behavior worse...

My advice:
Avoid software updates unless it's really necessary.

Iceman,
one major release would be the one promising MP3 compatibility in the CD player; there has been a lot of discussion on other forums as well. Perhaps some feature for 2005

As per my dealer RDS will not be longer available. I upgraded to 13.2 and it does not have it (Automatic A/C feature is gone too). They told me that 15 will not have it either.

[/quote]RDS works fine in my update to V. 13.3 so I am curious why your dealer reports it is no longer available. Most dealers don't know anything.
We should start calling them software downgrades, not upgrades.
