I'm continuing the offtopic a bit.
I'm sure Nikon D60 is a great camera. D series is one of the most used DSLR camera family. And to me the price sounds "normal".
I considered this camera when I just recently bought my first DSLR. I ended up to Sony DSLR Alpha300 because of few benefits that I couldn't find in Nikon or Canon. They are tilting LCD screen and image stabilizer in camera frame instead of lense. And I love it!
I suggest you identify your needs and follow them when going to shop

yeah its a nice lip, trinity can get it for you painted and shipped for around $420. Not bad at all.
