I have read that the OEM M5 tires and wheels will rub if installed on a 2005 e60.

The info I've gathered is that I have to change the tire size to : 245/35/19 Front 275/30/19 Rear.

I'm hoping someone here can confirm or deney this info.

And yes I teied searching this info here but the search feature won't let me use certian terms like M5, or OEM or 166..........

Any light on this subject would be appreciated.

Thanks

Worked for me...

Try using " " around the search words.

Like

"M6 tires"

Otherwise I guess I could be a nice guy and take those wheels off your hands...

The fronts will rub, which is why you have to put 35 series tire on the front. The rears I belive would fit fine, but the tire diameter would be off spec from factory.

255/35/19 are too wide for a non-m E60. They will rub, you'll need 245/35/19 for correct fitment. The rears are fine as is, good luck

I have 255/35/19 all around and I don't rub at all in the front.

I think it depends on the offset, the M6 wheel he is using pushes the wheel out quite a bit.

I have 245/35/19 front and 285/30/19 rear with 12mm spacers.

Dropped the wheels off today at the powder coating shop, two week turn around, it's the holidays.

Yes I bought these off of craigs list and I don't even know Craig.

I really have come to like the darker grey color. Looks very nice.
