hey all!

well.....as of this evening....i may be trading in the 540('05) for an '06 750li........????
am i nuts....??
so many pros AND cons i am confused....
i already miss the fact there is no forum quite like THIS one for the 7.....i looked at bimmerfest but the peeps there are NO way as enthused as the 5 owners.....
i fully realize the territory i am entering for better AND worse...
giving up something to gain something else...
i guess i just want to hear SOME kinda support from my fellow peers i have enjoyed reading with for the last two years.....
[snip]
ok....so let me hear it............... and be nice!

jack
I'd never change my 5 series for a 7. To start with, I could not drive it home! There is one point where the road is about 7 foot wide, and I need to do a 90 degree turn on that.

Hey - let's look on the bright side - you are not trading to an S-class. Now, that would be serious

Good luck with your new car!

What does that tell you E? But, really, have you noticed that very few appear to read the prior posts, and the same ground gets covered over and over?

so i did it.....
it's been a week now....traded in the 5 for the 7.....
i feel like i don't belong here anymore......
one thing for sure....7 owners not as enthusiastic about their rides......

i love it....lots of lil things i miss....but i gained alot.....
overall EXTREMELY happy and after the learning curve of the i-drive...and driving the car in sport mode via the steering wheel i'll be even better!!
