The custom LEDs I got from Brabus went out as well. I think there's something else we don't completely understand about this and that these LEDs simply can't handle the spike in voltage over time probably.
I bought LED bulbs for license plate locally and had those go out as well. Once I bought the whole replacement from Brabus, they've been perfect since. Obviously they cost more than just the bulbs, but gotta pay to play.

My new designed led plate bulbs will not burn out. The replacement lamps also last a long long time. U can't simply buy the ebay products and hope it to last a while. Send me a PM if ur interested.
as for the angel eyes, i believe u have halogen headlamps. Dont purchase built-in resistor leds. Purcahse regular leds and live with the errors OR wire in your own 10 watt 50 ohm resistors.

What about the original license plate LEDs I bought. I had to buy a resistor at Radio Shack for those. Anybody else remember those?

They are $35, but they work exceptionally well on all the cars we put them into, even the E61
