I originally started a thread trying to link-up forum members residing in Korea.

http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=60150

However, I received absolutely '0' response from Korean residents. Therefore, I have started a new thread and expanded it to all Koreans to link up on this forum!

AhnYeoung!! I'm a transplant in Taipei which is just a little ways southwest of Pusan.... Got some good Korean restaurants so that I don't feel homesick -- especially Naeng Myon in this hot Taipei weather!!!

Oh, yeah, I'm Michael and glad to meet ya!

Regarding chiptuning, one good thing I found out from a dealer is that they will provide a 'lifetime' update guarrantee in case your ECU gets zapped by the BMW dealer... heheheh

That sounds pretty good. What tuning is available in Korea...? Any particular brand popular..?

AC Schnitzer, Hamann, and Racing Dynamics (RD Sports) are really popular here in Korea and there are some very big and very reputable shops in Seoul. As for chip tuning, almost all the big names are available. I'll compile a list of what is available through who and begin to post on this thread.

Let's also compare prices between Korea and Taiwan. Perhaps we can organize cross buys.

A lifetime guarantee on the ECU??? Which company is that? That's an awesome guarantee!

It seems this new thread isn't too popular either...
