My Ride: 04 525i, 04 Dinan M3
I am fuming pissed right now! 
I pull in Chipolte to pick up some lunch, the parking lot is packed since Chillies is next door. I pull into a spot against my better judgement, it was the only spot really, next to a station wagon, and a truck parked backed in. I figure I'd just be in for 3 minutes. I get in line and I am looking out the window as a lady walks to the truck. 2 people get in, the lady in the passenger seat gets in and lets the ****ing door swing right on to my car! I was watching the whole thing and I run outside and step out of the line. She sees me and takes off, I try to get her license plate but cant remember the last 3 numbers. Its my first dent, I can't believe how some people are. I did not think of it at the time but I should have chased her ass down to her house.

Thats sucks. I am in the same boat, only mine happened on the first day I owned my ride. I'll post some pics next week when some of my mods are done. I think though that I was fortunate not to witness it, otherwise I might be in prison right now for murder!!
Yeah... door dinger should be punishable by somethin' horible!!!

I had the same thing happen to me. I actually got the plate of the culprit, went to the police, and the guy just told the cop that he didn't do it. I witnessed the event and a colleague could vow for the fact that the dent wasn't there before I parked and was there afterwards.
I know who it is, I know where he works, lives, etc. He's actually sometimes on tv as an expert on defense matters from Clingendael institute.
I've learned that in the Netherlands, you just have to deny and you get away with it...
My advise: get the dent out asap. You'll be able to forget about it quicker that way.

That sucks my friend. The fact you actually had to watch it AND some idiots ran off makes it a tough pill to swallow. However, so long as the paint is OK, PDR will be less than $100 I imagine. GL.
