Just in process of installing new speakers, amps, eqs.

Hi all,
I have just finished installing new amps, speakers, eqs etc.
The amps require a remote cable so when you turn the car off/stereo off the amps turn off.
Iv kept the factory cd player in the car and dont have a clue which the remote cable is? Or what i can use as the remote cable.
Has anyone come across this problem and or can anyone help??
