hey guys, just placed an order for some continentals for my 04 530i sport package. i got the Continental ContiProContact Mercedes XL from tirerack for $648 for shipping = $698. what do you guys think? i heard this is a good tire. my brother works at a nissan dealership, and he's going to put them on for me for free. if i need an aligment i'm assuming i have to do it at the bmw dealership due to the active steering alignment? (i'm hoping i wont need one as it rides straight right now). i guess i should have asked this before i placed the order, but i can always change my order if anybody has any horrible experiences with this tire thanks

My Ride: BMW 525i e60 (private) M-style,, Carbon Black, HUD, MM Interface. And a BMW 325 e90 (Business),

Conti's have a good record for being good tires (at least here in the EU)... Changing tires only does require aligning.. only balancing and any other good garage can do that for you.

Tire rack

I get my tires in one day, no tire fees, no tax, Shipping is typically less than tax.

Him putting it on the rack to check the specs will not hurt anything. If it is off he can attempt to do it or just give it back to you to take to the dealer. If it is in specs you don't have to do anything.
