True. With 44,500 euros you just have a moderately well specced 520d in Belgium. From what I have read on this forum the people in the Netherlands and in the northern countries pay even higher prices for their 5-series...
But let us be happy that BMW sells their cars for almost half the price in US.
At least someones gets a deasent car overthere for good price.
(One Euro is $1,35 - 70K Euro = $94,500)

My Ride: 2007 E60 535d M-Sport Individual. Moonstone with extended Platinum Leather, Professional Nav, Piano Black Trim, HUD plus other stuff like 20" Hartge Classic 2's!
Just got my 535d M-Sport here in the UK from Chandlers of Hailsham (we are about 70 miles south of London UK on the south coast).
535d M-Sport Individual, Moonstone with extended Platinum leather, Piano Black Trim, Head Up display, upgrade sound system (not Logic7 though), Heated front seats, Media Pack, 172 19" Wheels, and a couple of other little extras. 3 months old, ex-demo with 3,000 miles for ?37,500 (about ?53,000 or $71,000)
This is pretty cheap for the UK !!

PS - I dorve the 525d, 530d then the 535d. Only the last one really made me smile - but in fairness i came from a 2004 E55 AMG !

damn i love the youtube videos of the 535d... those with a chip are really fast !
I called about the anthracite.. hes said no can do on the 535i. its only for 550.. no biggie though..
hey so your saying its cheaper here then over where ur from? i spent 10k in options lol...
take pics and post of your 535d ... i love the stock rims from other countries... we get the allright ones.

My Ride: 2005 530 w/ sport package, premium package and that's it----yup it's lacking al the bells and whistles.
Have any of you driven the 535 yet---Can you feel the extra power with those 40 extra ponies?

When I ordered my 535i in February, the anthracite headliner was an option on the 535i. It was option number 775.
