just notice the temp lines on the perimeter of the tach are not workin

My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
Had my car for 5 months and never noticed if the moving white lines that surround the perimeter of the tach actual moved. These are the ones that leave 4 lines at full operating temp. My 545's worked all the time, do they still function for an '08 535i?

Don't move on my new 550 either. I recall someone saying here that the moving lines were discontinued with the LCI update..
