Gave up my E46 M3 for the E60 550 M-Tech and I couldn't be happier! I absolutely LOVE my car and can definitely see myself driving it for years to come. The M3 was a blast to drive, but the rough ride was killing me as a DD so the 550 is the best of both worlds, plus I have tons more space.
Bought my '00 328 in 2008 with 102k miles, bought my '05 M3 in 2011 with 60k miles, bought my '08 550 in June with 87k miles. I never buy new cars and have been fortunate enough to find used gems that have been extremely well taken care of, since new, by fellow enthusiasts (at a greatly discounted price) - which is why higher mileage isn't a big deal with BMWs.

37, Picked up my first BMW an e36 325is when I was 19, since then an e39 525i, and just bought my '10 m-tech 550 2/3 months ago... I hate to say it, but she's a bit of a garage queen, I'm still trying to cope with owning my first black car (668)...
