BMW Dealership installed my recently purchased GTS system today. When i was picking up the car, started cold start and immediately heard the leak. Dealer service manager who is a pretty decent guy, tells me it was put on as snug as possible, and that the connection to the headers are basically push on, which is unlike the stock muffler connection. suggested breaking in the seals and seeing if it goes away? After i left the dealership with a slight chubb, went to a golf tournament and when getting out the clubs noticed that the left side tips stick out about a 1/2? more than the right. Not sure if it related, because from the side i cannot tell if the leak is on the right or left side, but would assume it is.

Before i call Eloy and get some real advice... thought id see what my fellow E60ians think:

Get dealer to put it up on the hoist, loosin up a bit, and a nice tap with a rubber mallet? Hope its an easy fix

Pulley and intake kits was installed too! Really notice the 0-1500 rpm responsiveness with the pulley.

The left side does stick out more but when the car is warmed up the right side matches the left side. Also for the leak did bmw use NEW gaskets where the header meets the new rpi section one?

A common mistake for first time installers is that the bolts are tightened before the entire exaust is in place. Here's a link to race precision's installion guide. Keep in min the link is for a m6 but you should be able to fire it out based on the instructions.

Put new gaskets on section 1 vs headers..

Still slight tisking coming from between section 2 and 3. Is there not supposed to be a gasket between section 2 and 3? THere are clamps, but didnt come with gaskets.

I think that is where the sounds are coming from.. section 2 to 3.
