LOL, I know Rudy, but sometimes we all miss the obvious.
I would have never thought of it if I didn't read about it here years ago now.![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
Unfortunately I have no answer. I got a recent CIP update a week or two ago to 22.02.02 and don't notice any bluetooth volume problems.

I never know what version they upgrade me to, I am assuming its the latest. Is there a way via iDrive to tell? If so I get get it for you. Would it be on the service receipt?

You can't tell via the iDrive. It might be on you service receipt. Otherwise, you'll need to ask you dealer.

Okay, after defending pennetta's experience with all things E60, he goes and posts that question?

The dealers near me seem to be sensitive about updating software or letting you know what version you are being updated to. I guess thats because many customers will constantly want to be upgraded to the latest version which in reality can cause other things to stop working correctly. I have had many software upgrades and have asked them many times what version I was getting and never got a straight answer.
Is the software version on the door jamb by the tire pressure sticker?

By the way I was at Pocono Raceway this weekend and did the Bertil Roos Racing school driving Formula 2000 open wheel cars. It was on a 1.2 miles road course and it allowed passing. It was fantastic and I would recommend it to everyone.

Just got the CIP software updated a few weeks ago and the bluetooth volume is lower than before. Anyone else experience this? Is there a way to get the volumes range up?
BTW Pennetta, what phone are you using? is there a way of turning up the volume on the phone also? It is possible it have been turned down there and not been noticed?
I use a phone which is too smart for its own good and it sometimes does silly things...
