I just got of the phone with my friend there, and he said it might be possible to fit it with the M-Packet (fornt and rear bumper and sideskirts). Would it be a good choice ? I mean does it lower the car very much or it's the same size as the standard bumpers and it's just a visual thing. Anyone having the M package can answer ?
thanks hillokone

here is a comparison - my problem is the cash (it's about 1500EUR) and the fact that here in Constanta you sometimes need to climb the sidewalk to park the car.

it wont lower your ride height unless you drop your shocks, if I were you I would go for it + Drop the shocks+19 Inch wheels......

Congrats with color, but sorry!there is no SPORT STEERING WHEEL....original steereing wheel is too thin, you can keep those rims for winter, and if you go for M-pack- definately should lower the car it takes just springs, and dont forget 172M rims.

Yes, I agree - you should definitely go for a Sport Steering wheel, or even the M Steering wheel.

yeah...I know it was a mistake in the specs from the dealer. I guess the steering wheel is the same as in the new X5 my father got from the in january - and it's good. I'm not sure about getting some extre options on it (money-wise) as it set me back about 35.000EUR as it is now...thanks for the advice, I will consider them when I'll go back to Germany with the car to get the inspection done - in Romania the serviceing is overpriced and not that reliable and it's a common practice to go 2500km back to Germany to have it checked. And it's a BMW galore here (in Romania) - I heard for the X6 the have the limit in Holland for about 30 cars for this year and in Romania 250 (150 sold already).

just talking about the steering wheel shape. I will get in touch with my dealer in Germany to see if he can retrofit a sport steering wheel.
the service is done by people (good or bad)- if you take that into account, I prefer to know who is messing with my car.

one more question..is the flashlight in the glove compartment a standard in the european configuration ?
