hi you may already no but if anyone doesnt here is what i found out today, when you lock the car if you hold the lock button it will close all windows as well, then when you unlock if you hold unlock button it will drop all the windows and this works very far away to, great on those sunny days when your walking to your car to get the heat out, or when passengers leave the windows open and your already out the car just touch the key pad!!!

sorry if this is basic nollige and everyone knows this only had my car 1 month found this out its great!!! well i think it is

The "all close" part only works outside of the US (or maybe North America)...

congrats with the new ride
You may discover more features while reading the manual

But I too discovered at the time (had the car for 2 weeks) that when you're parked/standing still on a hill, and you release the brakes, there's an automatic handbrake that holds the car in its place for about two seconds

this was very very very pratical while being in a traffic jam on winter sports

Me too but with Comfort Access, you have the next best thing -- you can close everything by touching the lock area of the door handle instead of using the hard key like with non-CA cars...

hi .. you're learning something new then.
didn't realise you US guys didn't get this feature. how strange. why would that be any different???
i also had this feature on my 1998 E36. so when i got my first e60, didn't think anything of it.

Because we like to sue companies when we close everything remotely and injure someone...

Most VAG cars you can do this with the key inserted in the drivers door lock hear in the USA, but I don't see it happening with the BMW's... That would be on big slot for the e60's unless they do it with the valet key , which kinda defeats the whole easy and quick to to part of it.
