My Ride: 2004 BMW 530i
Hello,
Im more so curious than anything. I have a 2004 530i with 16k on it. It is oxford green with the brown leather interior. Its got an SMG as well and is in absolute mint condition. This car was the exact car that BMW put on the podium to introduce the new 5 series in 2003 at the international auto show. I have pictures to prove it.
What do you think something like this would be worth. Obviously its hard to find another sale that is comparable.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Fair point. So at 16,000 miles and absolutely mint condition - literally it's a new car. It was stored for 10 years at a BMW dealership - any thoughts on value ?

I'd be concerned about the car's mechanics and electronics not being driven all of those years, but I'm no expert and would have no idea of valuation.
I'm moving this thread to the general discussion area where you'll likely generate more opinions.

NADA high retail says around 8100.00, and I still think you'd have a hard time selling it for that much. Cool back story to us E60 geeks, but that's about the only crowd that will appreciate it.

I think your best bet is to put it on BaT (bringatrailer.com) and see what kind of interest you get there. Possibly BMWCCA ads as well, but as others mentioned it is still an early E60, albeit with a cool back story. Had it been an M model, you could expect some appreciation in value, based on low mileage combined with an interesting historical tidbit.
Try EAG in Ohio. They deal in rarer BMWs. I have no idea if they would be interested, but it's worth a try. My friend has bought and sold from them a few times and currently has a pristine E39 M5 from them.
